Since March 16, 2026, the University Women’s Hospital in Magdeburg has been running a special fundraising campaign: Eight runners have set themselves the ambitious goal of covering 500 to 1,000 kilometers each over the next 14 weeks. The charity run is intended to raise awareness about breast cancer.

On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, readers of the Volksstimme will have the opportunity to ask experts their questions directly during a telephone forum on the topic “When Your Shoulder Hurts – What Can Be Done?”

On March 30, 2026, starting at 2:00 p.m., a scientific symposium will be held to mark the visit of this year’s fellows of the prestigious Austrian-Swiss-German Fellowship. The event will focus on international academic and clinical exchange, as well as presentations on current topics and new scientific developments.
